Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and outgoing individual to join our team as a Host/Host. As a Host/Host, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your main responsibilities will include greeting and seating guests, managing reservations, and assisting with various tasks to support the smooth operation of the restaurant.

Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Manage the seating of guests and ensure efficient table turnover
- Assist in taking reservations and maintaining accurate reservation records
- Provide menus to guests and answer any questions regarding menu items
- Communicate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host station and lobby area
- Assist with side work such as refilling condiments, restocking supplies, and cleaning menus
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, or requests in a professional manner
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive and welcoming atmosphere

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of POS systems for order entry and payment processing
- Excellent guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional customer service
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar restaurant management software is a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Basic knowledge of food service and restaurant operations
